Vein Removal

Pre-Care

  1. In order to achieve the best success, please read the aftercare prior to your treatment. Please wear something comfortable that won't spoil as we put plenty of Sudocrem on after the treatment.
  2. Avoid active tanning for two weeks prior to your treatment.
  3. Free of charge top ups must be taken within a limited time period from initial treatment up to 8 weeks for legs or 3 for Facial veins

Post Care

 

It is also common to have some  crusting, bruising and swelling to the treated areas that can last for 6 to 8 weeks. For these reasons, many prefer spider vein treatment during cooler months. Please remember it can take up to 6 months for the veins to fully break down, so please be patient.
  1. Avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning for up to 14 days after your treatments, and thereafter for the next two months use a factor 50 on the treated areas.
  2. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications such as aspirin for 5 to 7 days after your treatment. You may use Tylenol and Arnica Gel (for bruising). Minimize or eliminate alcohol as well.
  3. Avoid vigorous exercise for 48 hours after treatment. Also avoid Jacuzzi s and hot baths. You may take a warm bath.
  4. Support hoses can be used for leg treatments  up to one week after treatment but it is not necessary (support hose should be at least 20 psi) Walking is also very good for reducing treated veins.
  5. Redness normally occurs following a treatment. This will subside usually in 2 to 10 days. Sudocrem has the right ingredients to help the skin heal and we advise that you use plenty and often to the treated areas. The face can often become crusty ( normally due to sun exposure prior / immediately after to treatment keep well moisturised do not allow to become infected and do not pick at scabs as they can scar if picked.
